[Sometime later, Minato is elsewhere in Mayfield making his usual rounds of the place when he hears a sound. Is that...someone crying?
Turning left, he finds a young girl on the sidewalk, hugging her knee, as she sobs. Concerned, Minato stops by her and gently asks:]
What happened?
[The girl continues crying, just barely choking out her words.]
I-I-I fell down. M-my, my knee.
[And she can't talk anymore. Minato observes closer, and notices her knee is bleeding! Not badly, but ouch that looks painful. Well, Minato can't just ignore her like this. So he kneels down.]
Let me see.
[The girl looks up, and shows him the damage. Yup, scraped knee.]
Are you helping me, Mister?
Yes, I am. So don't cry.
[The girl does as she's told. Minato takes out a tissue and starts wiping away the dirt.]
[Later, the two of them can be seen leaving the general store, the girls' knee now bandaged.]
I'm feeling a lot better now. Thanks Mister!
[She smiles.]
You're welcome. Be more careful next time.
You're not gonna tattle on me, are you? Mommy's gonna scold me if she finds out I was running again.
[She's looking down as she says this. Of course, Minato just winks.]
