Yeah, so I've been a bit lax about keeping this updated. Oh well.
I'm not sure what convinced my mom that the pre-lighted tree would be easier to put up than a normal one with lights you must add yourself. Of course, It may have been easier if she'd let me do it, since she somehow contrived to put the plug clearly labeled 2 into the outlet clearly labeled 1, and then wondered why hafl the tree wasn't lit up. Oy vey.
