[For Cyd] Let's take the time to walk together while we have the sun.

There honestly wasn't much for George to adjust to these days; it'd only taken a month for him to get used to everything, crazy magic and all, and he had something of a routine down by now. He didn't have rounds, but he still headed to the compound at the same time every morning for breakfast, barring hangovers, ill-advised (but great) one night stands or all of the above.

Today brought nothing but more of the same dull life George was trying not to resign himself to living. The PSP he'd gotten as a "gift" did a little to alleviate the boredom, but he had to be careful about how much he played. Blowing through all the games at once would leave him bored too soon, and none of them so far were good enough to replay.

As he headed downt the hall, George wasn't sure about what to do first. He wasn't hungry just yet, and it felt like a book kind of day, but he didn't want to spend time talking to a bookshelf. (On the plus side, just about everyone else looked crazy when standing in front of the bookshelf, so at least he didn't feel out of place.) Wrapped up in thought, George wasn't paying too much attention to where he was going-- he'd gotten used to bumping into carts and walls and doors around the hospital, it wouldn't make much of a difference here.

Bumping into people was just a little bit more embarrassing. Even more so when it was Cyd.

"It helps if I'm actually paying attention where I'm looking, doesn't it?" he said apologetically, hands on Cyd's arms where he'd caught her before he could compound the embarrassment by actually knocking her over. It would've been a horrible thing to do to such a pretty girl, and George wasn't sure he could've taken Cyd looking up at him with hurt in those gorgeous green eyes.

"Uh...hi, Cyd. Sorry about-- about that. Sorry. Hey."

Why hadn't he noticed her eyes before?

fools in love, in-game, cyd
