The commute to UCLH. It's about 35-40 minutes on the bus, not so bad, but it takes me directly down this street:
Hmm, lovely. That red/white building is the British Medical Association.
You know, we were driving up that street, I was sitting at the front of the upper deck and thinking, hmm, this looks terribly familiar from somewhere, was it in a movie or something? Then it dawned horribly on me why I knew the name of this street and exactly why it looked so familiar.
Here's why - same street, different day:
Yes. It's Tavistock Square, where the bus blew up in the July 2005 bombings. And I have to commute through it. In rush hour. Starting the last week in June. Because apparently London doesn't scare me enough already.
