iDon't Care about Apple Company Culture

Last week my friend texted me to say that he was enjoying iOS8. And I don't really pay attention to those things. The announcement about the new iPhone had come out and I just figured that required an iOS upgrade. I responded that I hadn't bothered to update my phone yet and that I'd get around to it eventually. He then asked me if I had Gold Master access. I didn't know what it was so I said "No." He then went on to explain that his work wanted him to preview the operating system so they had set him up with a developer account so that he could get access to the OS before everyone else.

At this point I was a little annoyed. So basically you only texted me to rub in my face you had early access to some operating system? What a boring life you must lead. I responded that if Gold Master access was a developer account, then I actually did have that. Because unlike him just being a tourist, I actually write applications that are available in the store for download, the last of which received an award for innovation from a third party. But I still wasn't going to download iOS8 because it's going to be buggy as hell for a few weeks after public release.
