Hippies and stuff...
So when I was young I found this big hat box thing full of pictures of my dad in the 70's... which he promptly took away from me (I'm assuming because there is one picture involving mooning and also quite a few in which he has his arm around various bikini-clad girls who are not my mother... whatever) Well last week my loving mother accosted me and FORCED me to go through all my boxes of college things that have been polluting her OCD life and long story short we ended up re-organizing the whole attic. (horrible day:( Anyways. I found that box again... and my parents just left to go to the fish dinner at church, so real quick i brought it in my room and scanned some of the more entertaining pictures. Don't tell my dad... he'd be angry haha.
Every single time I see this picture it makes me giggle hardcore... that headband! And the earring (there's still a hole in his ear, but I've never seen anything in it...)
He sailed to Hawaii instead of going to college... There were lots of Hawaii pictures in there and also a Hawaii driver's license. Sadly, it had his real name on it and not McLovin...
After he moved back to Michigan he did boxing semi-pro for a while and even won golden gloves at one point. When I first start dating someone I tell them my dad had golden gloves and they are always very respectful and pleasant to my parents...
that hair is horrendous! (I guess it is very apparent where my hair comes from...)

And then he ended up working as an iron worker until he retired a few years ago
My mom at about 19ish in my grandparent's backyard on my dad's motorcycle. She did not pass on her...assets to me. She got voted "best built girl" in highschool lol
