Sometimes I feel like I live in an unrestored mental hospital...but that is beside the point.

I think the portrait looks good. I love the color scheme and I think you did a fantastic job on the lips and yes...they are very striking, and the hair looks so real.

I like the building painting, again, I love the color of ink used. Very nice.

thanks. I got that color because it seemed like something you don't see too often (plus it is cool to say that I bought it in an art store in Florence:)

Oh that does have an nice chic sound to it!

I remember years ago, around 1993 or so, I had a fountain pen that I drew with a lot. (very clumsy fat lines, but I still drew with it) and once I found some brown ink for it. I did an Edgar Poe poem in brown ink and threw it to the wind for someone to find.
