Love
Wow. I just bought this on a whim at the bookstore near work, and it's wonderful. Odd. It's about an hour and a half of The Beatles music, all from the original studio recordings (except for the strings on While My Guitar Gently Weeps, which I'm listening to now). Remixed by George Martin (i.e., "the 5th Beatle") and his son Giles -- for the Cirque du Soleil show in Las Vegas.
It's weird and wonderful to hear these beloved, achingly familiar songs and sounds in a new light. Some (most, probably) aren't quite as different from the originals as you might want, but still... it's neat.
