So here I am again with a broken computer. It's pretty lame, but hopefully my mom fixes it soon. I'm definitely using my cousin's computer to do this, but she's in the shower so it doesn't matter.
Anyways, a lot of stuff has been happening the life of Jen recently. Firstly, school started and that's just...awesome. Haha, yeah right. I pretty much hate it and I want highschool to be over with so bad. I'm sick of Berwyn, I'm sick of Morton, and I'm sick of the people who go there... with the exception of a few awesome people. I hardly have any homework which is a major plus, but then I get bored at night and waste my time on the internet. I'm nervous and excited to apply for college. I've downloaded a few applications and sent requests to schools for applications. My mom pretty much destroyed my dream of applying to NYU because it is like a 200.00 application fee and she says if I'm not positive I want to go there I shouldn't apply. I'm not positive I want to go there, but I'm not positive I want to go anywhere as of this point. It's just confusing. Andy has the application to University of Chicago and it is pretty much the scariest thing ever. It's so long and it's like a book. I think it would be amazing to go to school in Chicago because I love our city more than I can explain, but I don't want to be forced to live at home. Bottom line. Why is college the only thing anyone talks about anymore? Margie already got accepted to Purdue AND got a 6,000.00 scholarship. That girl is like a machine and I'm so happy for her. I need to get my shit together like ASAP for this. Oh man...
So anyways, I went with my mom, aunt and cousin to visit my aunt and uncle's new apartment in the city and omg, the place is gorgeous. Unbelieveably gorgeous. It is right by Belmont and Clark in the middle of everything. I would give anything to live there. I"m completely jealous. Like that is what I want for my life. My aunt told me and Megan that we could visit and hang out anytime and I think we might be taking her up on that offer. Especially since she is right by the metro. On those night when we don't want to take the L home, we could just spend the night. It is perfect.
Last night was the first home game I cheered at and honestly it was pretty fun. I know I complain about cheerleading A LOT, but being there reminded me why I liked it to begin with. Aaand, on Thursday night we all went out and bombed the football players houses. It was a blast. Except some of the boys found out and made a sneak attack on us. Let's just say everyone had a lot of shaving cream to clean off their cars the next morning. Haha. I have pictures from that night and as soon as my computer is fixed I'll post them.
As for now, me and Megan are getting ready to go out. I don't know where. Margie is trying to make plans for everyone to go out, and Mattie invited me to a party so I don't know. I guess we'll see. Anyways, i love you all a lot and hopefully i'll get a working computer soon.. who knows?
