The primavera is defiantly a classic, I recognized the pattern when you posted the pic before even though I wasn't familiar with the company.... then again the unikko is really nice too since sometimes you don't really want the signature item of a line, you never know when Target will do a mock design of the classic for $14.99... which to be totally honest is probably the one I'd end up buying since I'm a thrifty domestic ;)
Of course the orange would match that kitchenAid toaster!
strike that... reverse it. I switched the names of the Primavera and the Unikko... which I will hereby refer to as "orange dandylions" "and pink poppies"
we don't have target here! i've always wanted to go though - i remember when conan o'brien first started out, he had sarah jessica parker on and she was going on and on about how much she loves target.
i'm a thrifty domestic too but sometimes, you gotta splurge. aprons, in general, are really expensive. i'm always looking for thrift store ones but haven't come across too many. i think i might buy a few patterns from butterick or mccalls and make them because they have some nice vintage apron patterns.
maybe when i go to visit you, we can go to target. warren and i saw some a news bit on a new exhibit at the museum of african american history (in detroit) that we want to go see on some weekend. he suggested that could be a time when we all meet up.
going to target sounds even more exciting (sadly).
I've actually have never been to that museum but everyone I know who has gone says it's really cool and I always mean to check it out. That plus a target trip sounds excellent :)
Target has to be my favorite store hands down. ( http://www.target.com ) you can get everything there from new shoes, to a waffle iron, to potting soil, to sweedish fish. we will have to go there when you visit detroit, bring cash because, as I have found, a credit card and target shopping can get totally out of control.
