Fee, Fi, Fo, Fum! Ask not whence the thunder comes, ask not why the birds go south. If the sun itself is blocked when it is only a clear day, run! Giants bring chaos and destruction upon their wake. Be you alive or be you dead, they'll crush your bones to make their bread!
Appearances: Giants stand from 50ft to 60ft tall. Some giants look a bit like us, but bigger, way bigger. While other giants appear in different forms; some have two heads while most have a horn or two, and others have four or six arms. And there's a few who have rock-like skin. But what remains the same, are their gigantic size.
Abilities: Due to their size, giants have incredible strength and durability and are nearly invulnerable. A single giant and level a buildingor half a mountaind and can easily wipe out an hundren men.
Habits: Giants are extremely carniverous. Cooked or alive, they would eat sheep, cattle but mostly their favourite are humans. We're like KFC to them! Giants would often live in the mountains, but there is a myth that there is a floating land in the sky where giants live. Hence the story of Jack and the Beanstalk.
To kill a giant: Giants are large, but they have small weak points, particularly in the back of the neck, though it is deep so very large and very sharp sword could work, as long as you make the precision deep either impaling or slashing. Unfortunately, you would have to be very fast to do so, for giants are not as slow(both mentally & physically) as they appear. And if you must kill a giant, do it fast and hard because you will only have one chance in killing a giant, and they will do far worse to you. Other ways to defeat a giant is with a weapon forged by the gods(particularly Thor's hammer, Mjolnir) which could carry out serious damage. And if technology was advanced enough, or if you were a super genius, you would need a giant robot to go toe-to-toe with a giant!
Other types of giants: As I mentioned before, there are some giants that come in different appearances, and have their own abilities;
Stone Giants - Stone giants are twice as big as a regular giant. Their whole body is literally made of stone, and they reside at the highest and deepest mountains. Quite often as their own tradition, whenever there is a thunderstorm, they would partake in a battle royale with one another.
Frost Giants - Frost giants are smaller than regular giants, and their skin are blue and nearly half their body is made of ice. They reside in Normway, and often rage war against Norse gods.
Daityas - Daityas are giants originated from India. They have bright blue skin and have four arms and often seen wearing jewelry the size of boulders.
Kaiju - The name means 'giant beasts', and originate from Japan. These giants look almost beats like. Not to be confused, a Kitsune and Oni are in no way similiar to a Kaiju(a Kitsune is a spiritual beast and an Oni is a demon).
Titans - Titans are of Greek mythology. Although they are descendants from gods, they are none the less in the catagory of giants.
Enemies: Giants have very few enemies, but their most hated ones are;
Humans - Giants eat humans, and so humans fight back for their own survival.
Gods - Gods are incredibly powerful, enough to defeat a giant, maybe three. That is why giants, particularly ones of Norse and Greek mythology, go to war with the gods.
Pets: Giants do have pets, at least pets of other mythical creatures;
Dragons - Giants keep dragons as their own personal pets, in the same manner of a human with a dog, and giants would often use dragons in the same way as using a blood hound(but mostly to scavange).
Sea Serpents - Giants keep sea serpents in the same manner a human keeps a cat(ironically). They often feed them, the same way as feeding a goldfish(only instead of flakes, live humans).
Oliphants - Oliphants are giant elephants. While some humans use oliphants to carry a hundred men, giants use oliphants as either cattle or steed, depending on the usefulness(mostly for the females in milking).
Wyvern - Wyvern's are winged creature that are smaller than dragons. Giants keep wyverns as pets similiar to a human keeping a parrot or canary, as shown when a giant allows a wyvern to land on its arm or shoulder.
