Twelve Labours.....I probably might do that, if I wanted to.

After seeing the film Hercules, I got a bit psyched about Greek mythology, which is my favourite mythology(second being Norse, of course).

My particular favourite is the Twelve Labours of Heracles(Hercules):
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Labours_of_Hercules
1.Slay the Nemean Lion.
2.Slay the nine-headed Lernaean Hydra.
3.Capture the Golden Hind of Artemis.
4.Capture the Erymanthian Boar.
5.Clean the Augean stables in a single day.
6.Slay the Stymphalian Birds.
7.Capture the Cretan Bull.
8.Steal the Mares of Diomedes.
9.Obtain the girdle of Hippolyta, Queen of the Amazons.
10.Obtain the cattle of the monster Geryon.
11.Steal the apples of the Hesperides.
12.Capture and bring back Cerberus.

I might actually do that, if I wanted to. Perhaps either as my own 'bucket list' or something to raise money. But seen as all the mythical beasts are slain, and all the impossible tasks has been completed by great heroes, I could make my own labour, but just 10 though(I'm not Hercules...or Superman!). I probably won't actually do that, but if I did, here is my list;
1. Capture the Moors' Beast of Cornwall
2. Learn the mystery of Jack the Ripper
3. Swim across the channel from Scotland to Norway
4. Capture the mighty Loch Ness Monster
5. Travel across Botswana from the jungle to the dessert
6. Wrestle with the incredible Big Foot
7. Slay the dreaded El Chupacabra
8. Wrestle with the most mightiest and unstoppable Rhino in Africa
9. Find and slay the Blair Witch
10. Defeat the Kraken

I might do that, but only if I was the Seventh Son of the Seventh Son that is. Some of you probably don't know what that is, but in some mythologies, that is a BIG deal. You basically would have to be a seventh sibling born from a parent that is one of seven children, and most importantly it also determine your own fate; if you would either save the world or end it. But I'm going off subject here. What I'm trying to say is that the Twelve Labours of Hercules is my favourite Greek Mythology, and it would be kinda cool to do something like that.
