The cinema I saw today.
Today I went to the cinema and saw Maleficent, a fairytale fantasy based on the Sleeping Beauty story(but with a twist) and starring Angelina Jolie(as the titular character), Elle Fanning & Sharito Copley.
This dark fairytale focuses on the mysterious and evil figure of Maleficent(Jolie), revealing how this ruthless antagonist - once a kind-hearted and peaceful young woman - morphed into the villainous fairy who placed a devastating curse on the young Princess Aurora(Fanning). But can the one girl change the wicked villainess' now-darkened heart?
The film was fantastic. It was very interesting to see a different twist to the fairytale story. I give it 4/5.
