Spin-off idea for a possible Marvel film; New Avengers
Another Marvel film, which would see a new S.H.I.E.L.D. initiating a 'new' Avengers team. Not sure if Josh Wheadon would be interested in directing this film, but it is a good idea. And the New Avengers has Wolverine and Spiderman, so it is possible to have Hugh Jackman and Andrew Garfield reprise their respective roles.

Plot:
Now firt of all, I am not quite sure how these heroes would be brought together, but I think the closest thing would be Deathlock. Secretary of Defence Dell Rusk has agreed with Colonel Glenn Talbot to initiate Project Deathlock. First bussiness, create an earth-made bifrost send the Deathlock army to attack Asgard. However, things become out of place when a 'green goblin' looking Deathlock leads the charge, which turns out to be Norman Osborne, who faked his death, but was injected with the Guest House drug(which was used to bring back Coulson) and that it had intermixed with his illness(retroviral hyperplasia), which the combination in turn mutated him. And so, Coulson, believing this to be shady, assembles a 'New Avengers' with S.H.I.E.L.D. Carol Sanders leading the team to investigate and prevent this threat from going out of control.
