Royal Commandos (Modern Australian Remake)

A modern take to The Three Musketeers, set in Australia. In this take, Australia has its first royalty in their country when it is revealed that long ago the young queen's descendant was the illegitimate son of the princess of England and the duke of France. But to avoid such a scandal, both royal families banished him to Australia. And so, the bloodline leads to modern-day Australia, where a teenage girl learns that she is the first queen of Australia. But with a scheming Prime Minister as her only advisor, the queen decrees a task force to protect and serve the first and only royalty, which are the modern Australian version of Musketeers.

casts, characters & who they're modern versions of.

Ryan Kwanten as Daniel(modern version of d'Artagnan) - A fresh cadet who joins the unit, who inaverdantly starts a fight with the three protagonists on his first day.

Jai Courtney as Andrew(modern version of Athos) - A no nonsense leader of the group with a moody look, a mysterious past & a heart that was long broken.

Kit Harrington as Aaron(modern version of Aramis) - A christian and a lothario, yet tactical in battle.

Manu Bennet as Paul(modern version of Porthos) - The rowdy of the three and a man who appreciates good liqueur.

Sam Neill as Prime Minister Robert(modern version of Cardinal Richelieu) - The scheming Prime Minister who learned of a roayal bloodline and used this to gain popularity in Australia, and plots to manipulate the new queen to his own ends.

Tabrett Bethell as Mila Winters(modern version of Milady de Winter) - A former lover of Andrew, who posed as Australian but was actually an American fugitive, now betrayed and plots revenge, even if it means working for the Prime Minister as a personal spy.

Emilie de Ravin as Bonnie(modern version of Constance Bonacieux) - A secretary and friend of the queen, who works as her eyes and hears, and will also be a soon-to-be love interest to Daniel.

Sophie Lowe as Anne-Louise(modern verion of both the king and queen of France) - an amalgam of bothe the king and queen of france, Anne-Louise was a typical teenage girl until one day she learns that she is the first and youngest queen of England. She does not trust the Prime Minister very much and forms a 'royal guard' who share the same distrust towards him as protection from any schemes he may have.

Other casts to portray modern versions of Musketeer characters are unknown, but I do like the idea of a modern take to The Three Musketeers, and set in Australia!
