I have been sick for the past two days, but that's ok, because for the past two days Raleigh has been shut down because we got 4 inches of snow omgwtf. Seriously. NC State canceled classes Tuesday (which was awesome, 'cause I got to watch the inauguration), then opened at 10 Wednesday such that I didn't have to go to my 9am, and because they were operating under the "adverse weather policy," didn't have to go to my chem lab, either. Yay for lack of productivity.

We won the Queen City Challenge this weekend in Charlotte, and I had a maybe-goal. My shot hit the goalie's shoulder and bounced over towards the back corner of the net, and our player swatted at it, and I'm not sure if it was already in or she put it in, but whatever, obviously. I'm defense, I don't really need goals. Our head coach was with his other team, NC State, on Sunday instead of us and took a puck to the face on the bench. His nose is apparently in 20-40 small shards. There isn't actually anything to attach a metal plate to. He's ok, but it'd make me reconsider wearing a helmet on the bench.

I'm going to Vanderbilt next week to interview, and Northwestern at the end of February. Haven't heard from Emory or Carolina yet, but I've gotten good feedback from State, so I think I'll be ok to go somewhere. Still leaning Vandy, but we'll see how the interviews go. Living in Chicago would be pretty sweet.

Ok, I've put off chem homework long enough.
