My Om experience
I am back In the city after a weekend that I will carry with me for the rest of my life
I have never been to an OM festival before
but from now on I will never miss one again!!!!!
After along 5 hour drive Tim and I arrived at Om
doing a little recon we picked a spot that we thought would suit our needs . Setting up our tents took about 15 mins setting up sean's 12 person tent took longer
SIDE NOTE:(sean & sarah did not come up with us, sean gave tim his tent cuz it did not fit into the trunk so we thought we would be nice and set it up ...boy were we stupid!!!)
Sarah tim and I are still waiting for some appreciation *wink wink*
The time is now about 8ish and we have set up all our gear and have nothing to do but wait for the troops ... before we head out to look around our new neighbors Steve & Meghan come by to say hello
and welcome us to Om . After chatting with them for a bit we head off to explore our home for the next 3 days ,DAMM this place is big
In the country dark comes real quick thinking that we should have made a meeting spot for the troops coming up later tim and I think that we might not find them till morning this would really suck for sean and sarah cuz we have there tent !! what do we do , we wonder around the DARK parking lot yelling into the darkness gavin,sean sarah,nomei,tori,mike ... after getting tons of answers to our yelling ALL of them not being the people we are looking for we decide to yell out tigger ..thinking that even if tigger does not come up at least someone from our group would recognize the name and we would find each other
The party gods were watching over us that weekend for as Tim and I were walking up a path I hear Tori's voice yells out MILLER and out of the darkness comes tori to fly tackle me YAY we have found our friends let the party begin!!!
SIDE NOTE:(Tim and I had dropped about 15 mins before we found everybody ! )
I was so happy that we were all together
once tori gavin noemi sean and sarah set up their stuff we headed out first stop the ferris wheel .
I hadn't been on one of this this since I was little ,it was two bucks per person and I had 14 bucks just burring a hole in my pocket so i had no choice but to pay for my friends and I to ride all at the same time ... that was fun !!!
We were all feeling the same vibe that seamed to be all around us!! Everybody we ran into was way cool.
Walking around a HUGE field in the dark while you are really high can be fun but it is hard to figure out just where you are ...(only got lost once )The music was so good all the stages were good but the best by far was the B L A stage it was all black light glow in the dark stuff very cool!!! stayed there most of the night got back to camp around 9am tried to sleep but was way to sketchy and it was hot ...so I walked around abit looking for some other people that I knew were at OM
