For the sake of an update
I manage to read entries almost every other day or so, yet I fail to ever post my own. I thought I might take the time to write something about my life and hopefully somebody would read it.
The school year is finally drawing to a close. Almost three weeks left in this quarter and then finals. Of course my luck, coined "greg's luck" (also known as murphy's law) tells me all my finals will be on thursday and friday. I have realized it will be depressing to be the last soul in the dorms friday night after everyone has left. i guess this is my way to fully leave my imprint on dorm life.
i am taking a bowling class this quarter. that is going pretty well. i am on a team with two of a couple of best friends. i hope we win the league, but then again it is my team so we will probably not win.
as far as the ladies go, i am still a swinging single man. then again i really am not a swinger and never have been. after a few unsuccessful attempts at finding a female companion i have learned i am destined to walk this life single. i guess this is how things will be for a long time. my grandma told me "why make one girl miserable when you can make so many happy?" i wish that were the case as well.
i'll be home a few times this month. i dont think anyone really knows, or if they did, they wouldnt call. it kinda sucks to come home when all your friends are either back at school, going to school, or not in town. eh, more time to hang out with my cats?
i had my eagle court of honor ceremony last weekend. that was pretty cool. i am very thankful so many people were able to attend. i was really touched to see so many people after so many years of never speaking to them.
i am working again in downtown LA this summer. this time with the same title, but a better pay. btw it better pay well if i am driving two- three hours a day to and fro.
housing next year is still up for grabs, but as of now, we have a nice place in line and hopefully we will get in. i hope i get more visitors next year than i did this year. (i added up the number of times a group of friends would come over and it added to 2) perhaps this says something about my character and/or hosting skills? i am not sure.
the weather here has been very rainy, but lately has cleared up. it has been nice to go for long rides by the beach and through the hills. it is a great opportunity to get to know the area surrounding SLO.
my roommate has some of the worst smelling feet in the world. i dont think it is natural, but they are always like that. i am trying to find some pills to help reduce the stench.
i have realized that sometimes music shouldnt go in certain places. the first place i find music very annoying is on any persons' myspace page. i understand it is 'your space' but the music just gets annoying because im already listening to my own! the second place is on your personalized voicemail. that has got to be the worst. i dont want to have to hear some song every time i leave a voicemail. in addition it is very unprofessional and again..annoying. sorry if you are a violator of greg's rules, but those are just some things i personally dont like.
all in all, i feel things are going very well for myself. there are always a few goals i would like to achieve, but attepting to reach those goals constantly keep this life interesting.
