It looks like I'm not going to post my reasoning for voting yes on California props. 2, 4, and 8 and Alan Keyes for president before election day. Gist reasons: 2- same as for my quasi-veganism; 4- ridiculous non-enforcement of child predator laws by abortion providers, and the schizophrenic laws regarding both minors and abortion; 8-all marriage laws descriminate against unmarried individuals, and *somewhat* less legitimization of sexual promiscuity based on pseudoscience. Alan Keyes: below.
The issues are enduring, though, as are the reasons behind why I'm voting as I am (on these issues), so I'll still post them (whether tomorrow or later). It will be interesting to see who still cares about such things at that point.
Here is something:
Vote for a President who ACTUALLY represents you!
The U.S. is both a representative democracy and a constitutional republic.
I encourage everyone who can to vote November 4th, and that you who vote to select the representative who actually best represents what you stand for, and who you trust most to uphold the constitution.
Don't just vote for the two most popular candidates because you feel you "have no choice." Because you do. This is what it means to vote.
Whether it's Ralph Nadar, Ron Paul, Alan Keyes, or anyone else, be sure to vote for your chosen candidate positively, because you would have them to be president, not mainly to "vote against the other guy."
The only way for the people's voice to be heard is to not go with media, or money, or manipulation, but to vote who you know to be the best. Then your vote will help inspire others, bring our nation closer to reform, and make the government fear the people, rather than the other way around.
Alan Keyes has my vote. Who has yours?
*Be inspired*
