Shameless music request time because I'm too lazy to do a proper post to teh_music. I blame my hankering for the following entirely on my mum dragging me out for my first Working Men's club experience, because Judy-from-work was compere for the evening. Truly a bizarre, yet fascinating night - no more than twenty-five of us, average age fifty-some (consisting of thrity-some daughters and their sixty-plus parents) entertained for the night by a bunch of Geordies performing the classic hits of the 70s to present. I doan't wanna miss a thing, like.

You've not lived if you've not witnessed a sixty year-old woman dancing on her own to a techno remix of Enrique Inglesias's "Hero". And this whole experience has only furthered the annoyance I've had with myself for not doing a dual History/Sociology or Anthropology degree. Oh well, too late now. :/
