The bar staff job at the lap-dancing club was a bust. The "manager", Eduardo, didn't turn up and I was sat waiting for him for two hours. Cheeky bastard. Not exactly a classy joint, but not too sleazy. The place was like a cross between a pub and someone's front room, but dingier, and with mirrored ceilings and a stripper's pole. Was there until midnight, and it wasn't very busy - I think La Salsa was the first "erotic dancing" place we had, and a couple of others have opened up recently which are better advertisied, larger, and probably more professional. Oh well.
Got the cleaning job, though! And I'm probably going to have to get another one as I'm nine. hundred. quid. into my overdraft. HOW THE FUCK DID THAT HAPPEN?! :(
However, that didn't stop me from buying the new Ryan Adams album, Easy Tiger right after this morning's interview to cheer myself up. Oh! And another thing that cheered me up was this uselessly wonderful sheep egg thing from sevarina. I have a lot of sheep-related stuff, but I've never seen anything like that. ♥
Which brings me onto the next point. I have a tendency to see useless things (y'know, in the market, charity shops, bargain bins etc) and want to buy them, but I end up chucking them away or shoving them in a drawer. So, you lot need to tell me what sort of little things you like or collect (e.g. I know karmicunderpath ♥z dinosaurs, and I'm pretty sure nightfive is fond of elephants) and then I'll keep that in the back of mind when I'm browsing.
