One and one and one is three
If my parents and I organized an artist retreat at our house this summer, who would come?
It would most likely consist of:
sleeping in the cabins, outdoor showers, & pond swimming
constant creation... art of the visual, literary, & musical variety
my parents lecturing/teaching/showing/talking about the stuff they know
tea
trees
good food
bonfires
yes
Mom's pretty excited about making coffee and muffins in the morning and delivering it to the cabins. Room service!
Dad would probably be up for leading hikes on his trails & being adorably grumpy.
I'm thinking a week, maybe two. Fuck, how about the whole damn summer?
Let's live like we mean it, kids.
Also, I'm talking anyone... Chesterites, homeslices, anyone you like to bring along. 'Cause seriously, the more the merrier/scary hippie commune-esque.
