(no subject)
OK I tried this once and got really far and lost it all so this post is minimal. Blame livejournal.com
so there was a campsite (we were in a hotel, we got to chill out at Derek's campsite)
and we enjoyed it
then...
Beck! before him we also say Neville Brothers and Elvis Castello (we camped out at Radiohead's stage all day), but we mostly jsut played around with the camera and slept during that.
Then, after eight hours of standing in the same place.....
We were literally Packt like Sardines in a Crushd Tin Box but it was worth it.
Radiohead was so good that last night I had a dream that I met Thom Yorke and he hit on me and we went on a date. no joke.
we were just excited to see their backdrop (there it is down there )! oh! and we saw Michael Pell there.
There were other interesting things like fairies and "fucking company" trucks. There was lots to see on our unplanned, two hour detour throught the mountain on the way back.
and then a list of the people we saw (faves are bold): Andrew Bird, Ben Folds, Death Cab for Cutie, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers with Stevie Nicks, Lyrics Born, Nickel Creek, G. Love & Special Sauce, The Neville Brothers, Elvis Costello and the Imposters featuring Allen Toussaint, Beck, Radiohead. It was wonderful, will you come with me next year? oh and shouts to Caroleena for selling us that ticket. you da girl.
I feel like summer is slipping through my fingers. Hopefully I will see you soon.
