(no subject)
I've fallen into a bout of depression spurred by none other than my (formerly) second or third favorite band. Coldplay's X&Y straight up sucks, don't buy it. It pains me so to say those words but it's so true! To every single one of the tracks on X&Y I can sing another Coldplay song over it. Not to mention that Speed of Sound if effin' Clocks. I mean it's not a bad song it's just already been written.
I don't know if they just had a bad recording experience or maybe they thought they found their sound and exploited it too much, but something went wrong. The songs are all the same, the melodies suck, the lyrics are trying too hard, and I can't understand all that color block crap on the cover. I've considered giving it another listen but right now I'm just "too shocked, hurt, offended, and, and, hurt."
