oh my gosh. I have a car.
Some of you may have been familiar with the Volvo, aptly named "La-fawn-duh" because of her majestic qualities, but she is with us no more. Turns out not only her speedometer didn't work, but the entire bottom was rusted out. The people said if I had kept driving and the bottom fell off then the car would have been catapulted in the air. I sort of want to keep the Volvo just to have that experience.
I don't know how to put a link in this thing so here was the Volvo
http://www.frankspittleinc.com/volvo_white_sw/volvo.htm The Volvo was taken to the dumpster so the search for a new (used) car began. There were flaming red Jeeps, dirty Cabrios, and Jettas, but none were so appealing. BUT!
let me se the scene:
It's 8:30 p.m. and I have been at school since 8:00 a.m.---no lie. I'm wearily walking towards the end of the fine arts hall to meet my parents and Artie screams my name. "did you get a car?!" he says. "no.." I reply.
"There's an Altima out there."
It cannot be! I think to myself.
I ask if my parents are in it and he says yes
so I run out the door and here is my little silver car waiting for me :)
It's pretty, it's roomy, and it wants you to sit on its lap. Call me up on Monday so I can come pick you up or something.
I also don't know how to do a picture post so you have to click here if you want to see the car.
