Annuals for sidearm accuracy have been scheduled for next Monday, under Akutsu-san. I am last on the list at 14:30. So far as I know, I am not on assignment then, so I have no qualms with this, nor any reason to fear any less than a passing mark. Although changing from the standard SW990L pistol to my current 625 JM competition revolvers reduced my speed and accuracy scores toward the end of last year, these issues have since been overcome with the learning curve. Monday shall show if I have indeed fully adapted to the new weapons, or if there is still work to be done. Apart from the obvious: that one can always get faster.
I look forward to the challenge; to be prudent, I will be practicing in the shooting range this weekend should anybody need to locate me whilst off-duty, for whatever strange reason.
It seems I have received a summons to the office of one Mizuki Hajime. Perhaps I shall be on assignment after all. We shall see.
