Well for a change of scenery I have involuntarily opted for Lakeview rather than Uptown today. My grandmother's house is ever so exciting. I've noticed that she talks very loudly on the telephone, which makes it difficult to do anything properly without being distractred. Supposedly she is "working".
Last night was fun, I went out with Ellen and Amanda to Craig's friend Jimmy's house. It was very relaxing and whatnot, we just sat around and talked for a while. And listened to Jimmy's CD's. And drank water. His house is all the way out in Kenner though. Ellen accidentally took the interstate and nearly forgot to exit at Loyola, so we were almost forced to go to Baton Rouge. Isuppose that wouldn't have been too bad; we could've gone and visited Brandon in all his grounded-ness. We would've been rather late for curfew though. Ah well. We managed to find our way back Uptown too, and I was very nearly on time and whatnot. I even called my mother when I was supposed to. Yay for me.
Wednesday night I had sushi for the first time ever. Surprisingly, my mom let me go with Aaron and his family out to eat at Hana. (I say surprisingly because I had thought I was grounded. Apparently not.) Anyway, the experience was rather ridiculous, albeit very fun, because not only had I never eaten sushi before, I had never used chopsticks. Aaron found this all very amusing. And then of course the sushi arrived and I couldn't figure out what to do with it. I figured it out eventually though,(after several interesting failed attempts) and now I have officially eaten sushi. I got crunchy roll. It was pretty good.
Oh dear. I have to go take a shower. There will probably be another entry later, since I have nothing else to do. I heart you all and whatnot, especially Aaron, who is in Florida getting rid of his shirt tan, and Amy, because she's going out with Ryan again and I'm all happy for them. And whatnot. Bye.
