Well... I'm going on a date with a kid named Brian (Bryan?). I don't really know him; I met him when he fixed the furnace at the Petty's house. I'm going to list the few things I know about him in chronological order of how I came to know them:
-he's good looking and taller than me
-he's the son of some good friends of Alli's family
-he's not a christian
-he's abnoxious
-he likes to drink... a lot...
-he was in somebody's wedding and got drunk and took off his shirt and wore only the vest of his suit with is pants.
-he is quiet and sweet
-he's really nice
Some of those things conflict. What am I to do. I guess I'll find out tomorrow.
Don't get any ideas, now. I'm not looking for or expecting anything. In fact it'll probably end up the normal way:
go out have a mediochre time (sufficient awkwardness and silence with occasional laughter and a few mutual but trivial interests), get really scared, stifle it with apathy and never talk to each other again.
We've talked on the phone a couple of times, which was actually ok. I think we're both kind of shy, and the times when we were both just silent weren't awkward in an irritating sense. I find that comforting. He's a cutie, I hope this is fun if nothing else.
AHHHHHHHH I'M LATE FOR WOOOORK. GAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYY.
