'Gossip Girl' Ladies - Coloring Tutorial

Okay. So I saw how most of you have literally fallen for my previous coloring tutorial - which, I must sincerely admit, I did not expect to be so nicely welcomed - and as I perfectly know how it is to get so super excited about something and then enthusiastically await a follow-up, I decided to give a new try and come up with another tutorial - which I hope you will fancy just as much as the first one.

To begin with, there are basically three types of coloring. Though slightly different, their whole coloring is set by the closing brown shadow (entitled 'Color Fill): amongst the bases below, the first one has 3 identical layers of brown shadow, while the second and the third ones have only been adjusted with two, respectively one layer. Download the following bases by clicking on the photos.

1. Whichever of these 3 bases you would use, the steps towards getting the wanted coloring are the same. Once you have downloaded the PSD version, open it in Photoshop, where you should see all the layers applied to it. Open the picture you wish to edit as well.

2. Beside the already mentioned one / two / three layers of brown color fill, there are also a channel mixer, a selective color and an additional light blue color fill. All the edits have been 'gathered' in a group, so all you need to do is to simply drag 'Group 1' on to your base.

3. Save your beautifully edited photo in whatever format you want (I trustfully recommend PNG, for a really good quality) and you're done! :)

> You surely know that the coloring would not look the same on all photos. It always depends on its' original colors, highlights, shadows, and so on. On some pictures it might look gorgeous while on some other might look bad.

> This coloring 'works' best on clear, brightened, unshadowed photos, it wouldn't turn out that great on darkened, blurry or slightly colorless bases. Looks good on screencaps as well.

> Here are some samples. Please credit in case you use / repost any of these.
