New vid: Bobby, Roger and Eileen (Angel/Spike/Buffy)

Dec 31, 2015 03:19

Yes! It's the last day of 2015, and I have finally finished the vidding project I started in the summer of 2014. The reason it took me so long is that outside the summer and Christmas holidays, I had very little time to work on it. Anyway, it's a  AU BtVS vid exploring the S/B/A love triangle, featuring Angel as Bobby, Spike as Roger and Buffy as ( Read more... )

Thank you! I was kind of expecting the vid to be disliked by both hardcore Spuffies and Bangels, so it's very nice to hear that you enjoyed it anyway!

(I'm a Spuffy first and foremost myself, but I also have a big weak spot for Spangel. So for me, this leads to a logical conclusion... :-)

Thank you! It was a bit fiddly in places, but I'm quite happy with how it came out myself.

That was adorable! Well done! I want to watch it again to fully appreciate the lyrics - this is very clever in subtle ways. As usual with your vids I love all the parallel imagery you find.

I don't know why pairing the image of Spike and Angelus in Innocence with Buffy in BB&B made me laugh but it did.

And thank you for the Gage quote, I had no idea he was a Spuffel. I'm never sure if I like where he's going with season 10 or not. He does keep me guessing.

Thank you very much! The song is a Dutch "classic" from the eighties and I was immediately reminded of it when I read that Gage quote. Apart from the "oldest rights" bit, the lyrics fit Angel and Spike perfectly, I thought.

Getting the scene you mention right was one of the more tricky bits of the vid. I wanted it to look like Buffy was walking into Angel's bedroom, not the library, but there was only so much I could do. Anyway, I'm sure the viewers will get the picture :-)

ETA: I still don't have any clear idea where the comics are going either. At least I hope that Gage won't be breaking Buffy and Spike up after having invested so much in their relationship. There is some speculation that Spike may be turned human somehow. Personally I am not a fan of that scenario.

Wonderful! Clearly, one of them *doesn't* have to cry tonight. It's possible for all three of them to have a happy ending. :)

Would you mind if I shared a link of this video on Tumblr? Buffy fans there would love it!

Exactly, the solution to their problem was obvious. (To achieve the happy ending I did have to cut off the very last line of the song, which was "two of them will go to the chapel"...)

And please share with whoever you like and wherever you like; the more the merrier! They're all invited to the happy occasion :-)

Yaaaaay, Spuffel!

I like the video, so funny and cute! I especially liked the final part, when there's the montage of Buffy, Spike and Angel together (That starts with the Innocence/Spangel scene + sexy!Buffy) I would love to see Buffy taking charge of this whole mess of OT3 and deciding that she can have both guys. Hot!

Thanks, I thought that you might appreciate it -- Spuffel all the way! And I completely agree about Buffy taking charge. The old-fashioned days are over, so why not choose both of her guys? That way they get to have some Spangelicious fun too, so everybody should be happy :-)
