My Summer of Giles vid

Wow, I can't believe I managed to make two vids in only a couple of weeks. Granted, the first one (made for sb_fag_ends) was really short, and this new one, made for this year's summer_of_giles, is pretty simple. It basically consists of a whole lot of Giles looking worried, rubbing his face and polishing his glasses. In short, big fun

I guess it depends on the vidder. It always takes me a lot of time, but there are people who manage to churn out decent vids in only a couple of days. (How they do it, I have no clue.)

For this vid it took me a lot of time to gather all the clips, because although there is plenty of footage of worried looking Giles, he's talking in most of the shots and I wanted to avoid "talky face" clips as much as possible. (I didn't entirely manage it in the end, but I think it's not too bad.)

Absolutely hilarious! So perfect to put all these worry scenes of Giles together and match it to this song! I laughed out loud several times, but especially at 'things they dump into the sea'! Ha! And the fashion today! and the bagage retreival system at Heathrow! Heh!
The best was Giles being worried about driving everyone around the bent!
This went straight to my favorite vids!
I'm sure it was a lot of work to put this together, but I guess it's been a lot of fun, too :D

Thank you very much! I did have a lot of fun making it (though I would have enjoyed it more if I hadn't been under so much time pressure). I am so pleased to hear that you regard it as good "brightening up" material. I hope you won't be needing it though!

This is the funniest post I've seen/heard all day. And I've seen a lot in the last few hours, lol. I was chuckling after about five seconds. And eagerly waiting during the break to see if there was more.

Honestly I never realized how much Giles worried about everything and everyone and the entire world coming to an end! I supposed I identified too much with Buffy at the time - but cute boy! and dance! and hanging out with my friends! - to notice. (I was young when I first watched the show) :P
