We were just discussing how great it would be if they invented some kind of storage thing. Like, everyone has the books and/or DVDs that they want to have available all the time, and then they have the ones that they want to keep, but they don't really have a place for on their shelves, but they still want to be able to get to them relatively

There's a lot of jumping around in this post! When you brought up storage, I thought you were imagining some kind of alternate-dimension storage, because that's what I'm always thinking would be ideal. Thinking realistically, a giant house or even a usable basement would be nice... I have the boxes and organizers, I just need a place to put those things.

There must be illustrations of cute toothpaste out there. Surely... *google searches* Okay, maybe the cute-ifying artists of the internet haven't got to that yet. But I think the shape has cute potential!

If you end up liking Warau Kanoko-sama and decide to continue with the sequel, I believe there would be several people who'd love to read your translation :) But for the more immediate future... maybe something from Hidaka-sensei? Either her new or old stuff would be awesome :D I don't know why, but I feel like I don't get a very firm grasp of what's happening in her work when I read it in Japanese (other titles seem easier somehow...).

Like I said, talking about random things. Alternate dimension storage would be pretty useful, but then I wonder how much space there is in the other dimension. Giant house is what I tend to lean toward for ideal.

We were thinking maybe something by Hidaka-sensei, too. Got anything specific in mind?

Hmmmm... I don't know what to make the top of my list; any would be great! If you don't want a big time commitment, maybe one of the Akiyoshi family short stories? Tenshi or Berry Berry if you think you might continue? (although just one volume of either would be fine too!) or Rin-Jin, or Jikanya...

I really can't decide. sorry! Maybe someone else will have a second opinion. Or you can choose the one you like best and want to share with the world :)
