Busy day
Oh my goodness, today has been exhausting. It started out really well. We went to the temple, then we checked out a pharmacy that seems to specialize in things that are not pharmaceutical at all. It's more like a tourist gift shop sort of place, or a place to go to find holiday decorations for your house if you want things that are kind of over the top, like super cute fully-painted reindeer figurines that are covered in translucent iridescent glitter. And then we went to Stacks for a late-ish lunch. It was really very nice.
...And then we came home and had to do our job. That wasn't bad, either, really, except for two things. One, we didn't start until like an hour before our usual quitting time, which means two, we had to work pretty late to meet our quota. I also feel like I was extra braindead, maybe because it was so late, or because we've been going for so long, or because we were more social than usual which takes energy... I don't know. All I know is that at dinner, I felt like saying, "I feel my life force ebbing away..." And then we ate dinner and got back to work.
On the bright side, everything we worked on was pretty fun. And we stand a pretty good chance of getting all our work done before we leave the country...except for the one volume of manga that we will need to ask for an extension on. We are going to have to really work hard to prioritize the next volume of this series.
Anyway. We did have time to watch one episode of Miraculous, so we watched Glaciator. And that was nice, too.
Today I'm thankful for getting to go to the temple, having a nice time with friends afterwards, finishing our work quota, getting to take a break to play a little bit of Theatrhythm, and getting to watch an episode of Miraculous.
