The busyness continues. As I mentioned before, we're sort of supposed to be helping with this play that's happening. They guy in charge wants to have audience participation, and he wanted us to be in charge of it. It got to be a little complicated because there were some communication issues, so we weren't sure if we were supposed to come up with the things the audience was supposed to participate with, or if he had his own ideas that he wanted us to follow, and I sort of still think the answer was yes, and that kind of confusion is the worst kind of confusion for us, so we got more than a little stressed out yesterday.
I think the whole matter has been resolved, but we didn't go to rehearsal tonight, so I can't say for sure. We kind of needed to not go to rehearsal last night, because I learned this morning that we really just have not been getting enough sleep for a while, and today it caught up to me in the form of a minor headache that I've been dealing with. So instead of going to rehearsal, we watched an episode of anime, an episode of Mr. Ed, and now we're getting ready to go to bed early. After some ice cream, because ice cream is important, too.
In other news, we're finally getting some exciting announcements from Anime Expo, but we don't know what to make of them for ourselves personally. Namely, the world premiere of the Welcome to the Ballroom anime is going to happen at the convention! which is very exciting, but I think we're going to have to miss it. It's on Sunday, and we like to honor the Sabbath on Sunday. And even if we were to say it would technically be supporting a friend to go watch it, which would make it somewhat more Sabbath appropriate, the actual premiere is going to happen smack dab in the middle of when we're at church teaching Primary. So it's kind of a bummer, but I don't think we need to worry about missing it. The anime will surely be on some streaming service for us to watch, and hopefully the people involved that we'd want to meet up with will be at the convention on more than just Sunday.
Today I'm thankful for being sort of back on schedule for work, getting to spend some time lying down, having the audience participation issue mostly resolved I think, cute kittens, and cute Pages.
maybe someday,
anime expo,
welcome to the ballroom
