BOYS
I was in my room the other day with a couple of girls and I said out of nowhere "I feel like being around an alpha-male". I was craving the company of a big, muscular, 'cool' suave guy. random urges, I know. anyway. what I got instead were four beta-males (no, I don't think those exist but anyway!! I got four nerdy, hilarious, wonderful guys.)
I walked out into my hallway and THERE WERE FOUR BOYS talking and laughing out there. what do you know? lol they were visiting this girl megan on my floor. so, I started talking to them and we ended up spending the WHOLE evening talking, laughing, playing Cranium and getting to know each other. we stayed up til three in the morning just hanging out. woah.
they are TOTALLY like the Santa Rosa boys. or maybe how the santa rosa boys used to be before they turned into semi-alpha males. they have thousands of inside jokes, at least one a minute. but I didnt feel left out. they were so kind as to explain each story after the gales of laughter. and they were funny!
I had so much fun. I guess nerdy, sweet, hilarious guys are my thing. guys who love eachother and aren't afraid to be close. guys who have history, personality..who are REAL.
Today, megan told me she couldnt believe I hung out with them for so long. she was surprised I wasn't getting bored with all of those nerdy guys. I said "what? are you KIDDING ME??? those are just my type!!"
well, I thought I would share. there are good people out there. you just have to step outside once in awhile
