I just created a paypal account within two minutes and paid for something under one minute. Also, i've finally, successfully, gotten hold of an ib device. Within the last 30 hours i've spent XXX. Last week topshop trip has rendered me (okay, not me, him) XXX poorer as well. I'm still planning on joining the ASOS spree (25% off non sales items OMG), get my hands on those Gojane booties, replace my BB cream concealer, that Alexander Wang lookalike bucket bag on UO AND that pair of dolce vita heels which i've sworn i have to get. Its like i have to buy to fully satisfy myself before i finally get down to seeing nothing on my screen other than words and theories which i have to memorise/understand/apply for the papers which start in less than a week.
Sometimes thats all there is to life isn't it; superficiality, in every sense of the word.
Other than shopping, i've been peeling my eyes wide for some hardcore serial action. Fringe, The Vampire/s Diaries (which sucked by the way so i stopped at episode one, i only finished the episode cause the female lead is an eye candy), season four of Heroes and many more. Planning to start on Flashforward, maybe Eastwick and Melrose Place as well. S is gone for a month for an exercise in Australia. The ridiculous (not sure if to laugh or to cry hysterically) thing is that there is no reception in his camp, other than a "reception" tree, as they would have it. So everyday he will trot to that tree, which i'm sure there are plenty of others there as well, to make a one minute call to me.
Anyway, my life has been revolving around playing mahjong, roaming around Siglap, camping at home with S and my laptop, watching them play soccer, having supper which happens to happen at the same indian place almost all the time. Yes, basically thats all there is to it. I cannot wait for S to be back and school to end so i can have a temp job for a couple of months and jet off to Japan/USA with S before his school starts and i embark on my career (which officially spells the end of my life btw).
