So I've been thinking about losing weight. I've yo-yo dieted with the best of them, and I know the only really good way to do it is to eat better and exercise. Problem is, I have arthritis. So the more weight I gain, the more pain I'm in and the more it hurts to exercise. So I keep gaining. I need something that will help me lose the bulk of the weight, so that I can then exercise painlessly to maintain the weight loss. Logical, right?
But not so easy. The only way I can see to lose a lot of weight without exercise is surgery. Don't really want to, but I think it might be the most... I don't know, proven to work?
Anyone out there have bariatric or lap band surgery? Thoughts? I know I need to do my research, but I needed to get my thoughts out there before I tell anyone IRL.
