"OMG what" you ask? OMG THIS:

Oh wow, I'm so glad Dead Set de-sensitized me for zombie gore, because some of that stuff looked just as bad. O_O Not that I was expecting them to hold back or anything, just hoping they keep it on the realistic side and not just gore for the sake of gore. But that all looks amaaaaazing so I have faith. And OMG IS IT ( Read more... )

Those fan-made opening credits are so fantastic I can't take it. Thank goodness for the internet where there are other people who get my ecstatic glee over them.

Same here! Gawd I wish those were the real credits. And I wish we could SEE the real credits already, because I have an irrational fear that the credits song will be Johnny Cash or something Cash-like. I'm just really not feeling straight up country for this show, that song in the fan-made credits is much more appropriate.

Yeah, I tweeted about them and the guy who made them replied, thanking me for mentioning them. Evidently he's pretty excited, heh. Deserved, definitely.

I love Johnny Cash, so I'd probably be okay with something like that in the intro, but I do like the Eeels one better.

Heh yeah, I tweeted them too, they seem to be getting a lot of hits too. One only hopes AMC sees them and takes notes (or just hires the guy).

I like Johnny Cash just fine, I just don't want country for this show. Can't really put my finger on WHY, maybe it's because it's a little predictable, IDK. Maybe because it would make the show feel too emo, and I think that part should be understated and subtle. I mean, when it's zombie apocalypse, you really don't need to tell people it's a depressing situation. Unless they've only ever seen Zombieland and played Left 4 Dead and never seen zombies anywhere else.
Ahem, rant over. I'll most likely love this show either way, but details like this could make the difference between love and insane adoration.
