Aww, yay! I was so worried about the season (or possibly series) finale of Secret Diary, but I got pretty much the best possible ending I could have hoped for. Atleast now I won't be too crushed if the show doesn't get a 4th season. Although I would miss it, not just for the characters but for the amazing soundtrack. So much perfect music in this show, and in this episode especially. (Florence and the Machine! I love that song. ♥)
It's sad, I had so much fun getting caught up with Lost in November/December and now it's just so incredibly dull that NCIS: LA is looking more interesting. What happened to make it that dull that fast? I don't think it's the alternate realities because they both bore me equally. I think it's that nothing shocks me anymore, they're done so many far-fetched twists that they just lost all meaning to me.
♥ Community! ♥ The highlight of my week, and it never disappoints. Okay, I'll admit I'm a little disappointed we didn't get to meet Jeff and Annie's family, but I'm sure they're just saving that for separate episodes when they can get more screentime.
And I loved the rest, especially Human Being having a what, sister? Girlfriend? And of course they're in costume too, because what? Lulz. And Pierce's windmill... ("I may be just a simple cop but people need to know: This isn't gonna stop until Pictionary bans the word 'windmill'.") Also, love the Glee diss, because people kept saying that was the best new show of fall 09 even though it's obvious Community is way awesomer. Suck it, Glee! (I still like it though.)
(But WTF Kathrine McPhee? I actually saw her season of American Idol and she used to be pretty! What the hell happened? Did she lose a bet with that haircut? She needs to fire her stylist, etc etc, more worn-out hair-disses. I have nothing new.)
BTW, awesome news day today - Summer Glau's got a new show! And right on the heels of Alan Tudyk and Fran Kranz also getting cast! The creepy thing? They're all on NBC. Between this and Community (and okay, Chuck too), NBC is actually kind of looking sort of ... awesome. O_O And OMG, David Tennant also has an NBC pilot! NBC can't become awesome, just like FOX can't stop being bastards and CW can't stop being tweens! NBC is the awkward network that never has more than 3 good shows simultaneously (and 2 of those are always comedies), that's the natural order of things. They'll fuck this up somehow, right?
