Lets have an early morning post, for a change!
(And yes, 1.30pm is early morning, as far as I'm concerned. Deal with it.)
This was going to be a happy post first, because I was in a good mood last night and wanted to post but didn't have time. And then it was going to me a FUCK LIFE post, on account of the cat being sick (keeps puking, is fine and dandy otherwise) and some other stuff that I'll get to in a sec, but then threeguesses/lowriseflare posted a RB fic that considerably brightened my day, so now I guess it's just a post without a theme or overarching mood of any sort. Oh well.
Bad stuff first, I guess. Cat keeps being sick, as mentioned, and I dunno WHY because he's totally fine otherwise, but probably it's because of him eating anything that isn't nailed. And I don't know what to do about that, other than become a neat freak and well, that's not gonna happen because I'm just naturally messy. Like, give me an empty desk or table and I will fill it with junk in 2 minutes tops, even if there's no junk nearby to put there. Mom's always been fascinated by this talent of mine, but really, it just happens! I don't even know how or remember doing it - suddenly it's just there. Possibly I conjure it up with my mind.
In other news, the following "comedians" are officially and permanently blacklisted on account of failing to be human beings: Louis CK (never liked him anyway), Michael Ian Black (not a huge loss), Anthony Jeselnik, Kumali Nanjiani, Jim Norton (didn't even know who they were to begin wish), Patton Oswalt (this one I'm actually sad about) aaaand of course Daniel Tosh for starting the whole thing, but I didn't really know who he was other than "that annoying dude from commercials at the end of Daily Show episodes" anyway. So yeah, only one I'm actually sad about is Patton Oswalt who I thought was a decent dude, but on the plus side this means I was right in my instinct to not waste time watching that Louis CK show, so my insticts are only half crap I guess.
Backstory: Tosh made a rape joke, got TOLD for it, aaaand now a bunch of dudes are upset, because heaven forbid THEY get offended by other people being offended. I can't even believe this actually needs saying, but rape jokes? ARE NOT OKAY. OR FUNNY. EVER. Like, there should be a few, just a few, specific topics that we - as a race of thinking, supposedly-civilized people - can all agree is neither funny nor acceptable to joke about, shouldn't there? I feel like there should, and I feel like rape would be too obvious for even that list.
Meanwhile, on the (increasingly overshadowed) plus side: Tim's back on WoW (albeit on a crappy laptop, but it means I'm no longer alone with repulsive Trade chat as my only company so I'm happy), and we're making goooold and my mage dinged 85 yesterday, which means I only have 2 toons left that I need to drag through Cata content. And White Collar returned in a glorious hail of hat!porn, Fanservice galore of Bomer shirtless, and well, THIS:

Now, here's the thing: In between writing this I've been running around dealing with RL dailies, incompetent grocery shoppers and other stuff so this is no longer an early morning post, but I cannot be arsed to rewrite. So, this truly is a post with an identity crisis. Seems fitting to how my day is going, though!
