I'm planning my birthday party! By which I mean I'm planning my TV schedule for my birthday week/weekend. Parties schmarties, I'll take some awesome TV and a bucket of ice cream any day!
Okay, so maybe some company would be nice, but that's not happening. You'd be amazed how hard it is to find awesome, funny, witty people that are willing to quarantine themselves over the entire winter and only ever spend time with me when I want to. Actually you probably wouldn't be amazed at all, it's pretty much as hard as it sounds. I wish they would just hurry up and build robot people already so I could custom-make my own friend (think somewhere between Abed in Community, the HIMYM-gang and Veronica Mars, with a dash of the Doctor and Socrates). Sigh, maybe for my 50th...
Anyways, TV schedule. I've decided I don't want to spend my birthday depressed and obsessing over anything other than the fact that I'm a full quarter into my life already (in the second best case scenario where I live to 100. The best = I live forever. Mahahaha.), so no new Farscape until next week. But maybe some of the silly episodes I've already seen, because I am getting itchy for it. The cartoon episode is a given, obvsly.
Then I'll rewatch The Emperor's New Groove, because that will never not be awesome, and then ... I dunno. More Scrubs, I guess. Oh, and I've been meaning to watch Blackpool for ages, but I don't know if it's awesome enough for Birthday Week? On the one hand: David Tennant, on the other: David Morrissey... :/ Plus, maybe I should save it for when DW starts back up and I start missing Ten for realsies...
NBC got me the bestest present of all, the return of Community on the 4th which means the 5th for me and oh whatdoyaknow, the 5th just so happens to be my birthday. :D Go on NBC, tell me that you didn't plan that! I won't believe you anyway. *Is center of all universes*
A season 2 pickup announcement would be gravy, I'm pretty sure they're planning to surprise me with that on my actual birthday. I know, shh, I promise I'll act surprised. ;)
