Fiiiiinally got my beta invite, yay pandas! Probably won't be able to play until tomorrow though, 18gb download hooboy. Also tomorrow: official server transfer. Been trying to contact Blizzard and see if I could get Kabang on the new server, because their FAQ said it was possible, but so far all I've gotten is a standard copy+paste reply about reporting inappropriate players. And then they closed my ticket and I couldn't reopen it, so I had to make a new one. Way to completely fail, Blizzard!

Been leveling what's going to be my farmer toon today, and I like her. And I like the realm, I had a temporary freakout about being on a PVP realm, and an RP realm, but so far it's been pretty hilarious on both counts! RP is fascinating to watch, I don't really want to participate other than maybe just bland into the background, but I like to watch. (Hee.) Interesting things learnt tonight: Appearantly orcs say "ain't" and "feck". I did not know this.

In non-WoW news (GASP): The cat is eating my foot and my desk lamp broke. Yeah, that's pretty much all I got. I wanted to talk about something non-WoW, but honestly that pretty much leaves sleep. And I haven't even had any fun dreams lately. I suppose there's always TV, but TV has been DUH-LL lately. Seriously, you wouldn't know season finale season is starting from what's been airing. To recap:

Apartment 23 (as it will henceforth be known, because that whole long title is STUPID): Yay, it's 2 Broke Girls but with Dawson (and Lane from Gilmore Girls! Hi Lane!) instead of racist stereotypes! And about as good, which means enjoyable but mostly unremarkable.

Raising Hope: Valiant effort, but they tried to cram waaaay too much storyline into one/two episodes and it did not work. However, that is all forgiven because they brought back Blind Johnny (and a bunch of other people, but whatever to them).

New Girl: Still chugging along, but this week's ep was pretty weaksauce (specially Winston who appears to be in the drop of some sort of rollercoaster of likability).

Cougar Town: Ugh, I'm gonna miss this show so much when it's cancelled. Been rewatching old episodes lately to make sure it really hurts when the news hits (any day now, *braces self*). Atleast it seems to have peaked and is just plodding along nicely but unremarkably now.

2 Broke Girls: See above, re: Apartment 23.

Hart of Dixie: Hot DAMN, that was a lot of handsome for one episode. *Fans self* And I didn't see the brother twist coming, so good on that, but the rest: Pffffht. Moar shirtless Wade and Zoe/Wade shippyness, less of EVERYTHING ELSE. Gawd, it's like they have no idea why anyone (meaning the 8 people who do) watches this show.

Castle/Suburgatory: FIREFLY/CLUELESS REUNION! See, now that's atleast seasonally appropriate, that's more like it! If all shows are going to insist on being underwhelming then I'll settle for some good old-fashioned stunt casting. Wanted more references on both counts, but I won't bitch cause I might have missed some.

So, to summarize: MEH. Most shows aren't even airing episodes regularly, and those that do are seriously dull. When did TV get so unsatisfying? I guess all the great shows air off season? Is anyone actually excited about anything atm? (Lol, like anyone's reading this giant ramble-rant of incoherency.) Sigh. I miss great TV.

tv: 2 broke girls, tv: suburgatory, tv: castle, tv: cougar town, tv: raising hope, tv: hart of dixie, tv: new girl, games: world of warcraft
