Hey look, a post that isn't about Rookie Blue!

Well, mostly anyway, cause first up: hi to the lovely RB-fans I stalked and friended today, just in case all my non RB-fans decide they've had enough of this insanity and up and leave me (yep, I have issues). But yeah, this one post is actually about other shows, cause it's Monday, and we all know what that means!

Leverage: YES. Totally 100% straight-up loved this episode. MARK SHEPPARD! PARKER BEING ADORABLE! PARKER/HARDISON BEING ADORRRRRABLE! ELIOT HUGGED HARDISON! <3<3<3 I'm coming around to accepting the fact that this show won't be scratching my shipper-itch, which: fine, I have .... other shows (that shall for the remainder of this post remain nameless) for that, but I do love it when they throw us a bone. Especially when that bone is all super-cute and involves dancing and dorky high-fives and nosebumps/almost-kisses. Said it before and I'll say it again, almost-kisses = an acceptable alternative to actual kisses. Atleast up to a point.

Also, did I mention about the MARK SHEPPARD! I love that that guy is in everything I ever watch. It's like he's the one actor where the universe actually listens to me when I say "that dude is dope, he should be in EVERYTHING!". Now if I could only make the same happen for Lee Pace and Kristen Bell and Felicia Day and, etc etc list goes on for a mile. Maybe it'll just take a while before it kicks in, with those. *Shrug*

True Blood: Lolwut, as always. Better than last week, which pretty much doesn't say anything, but whatever, it made me laugh a few times and I'm pretty sure I was supposed to atleast one of them!

Good parts: Tommy fiiiiinally dying (though taking forever doing so), Team Stackhouse rallying the troops and heading over to the Witchitorium to save the day (and then ending up ... not doing so because they are useless and stupid).

Amusingly bad parts: The Fab Four's amazingly cheesy slow-mo walk (and then freeze frame!) as they head off to battle. Andy's intervention (and dear lord let that be the end of that drivel now?), atleast about half of it and mostly thanks to Terry getting all awesome again. The witches remaining Too Stupid To Live - I honestly really have no idea how those people dress and feed themselves, but it's fun trying to picture it.

The Glades: IDK, what? This show, I don't even know what the hell you're doing anymore? Like, pick a freaking lane and STICK WITH IT FOR FIVE MINUTES WILL YOU? Not only are most the threats to the main ship incredibly weak, but they keep switching them up every single week too! Callie might go into Witsec with Ray (yeah right), Jim might move back to Chicago (lol yeah) or get back with Sam (atleast slightly concievable, if only temporarily), here's another love interest for Callie - oh no wait, psych, it's pretty much the job offer-equivalent to hitting the jackpot and she might move to Atlanta. And that last one was all in the span of one episode, I mean my God, I'm getting whiplash here.

But then they do these scenes with Jim just staaaaring like he's hypnotized or something at Callie and not listening to a word Carlos says, or where she just randomly surprise-plants one on him and it's hot even though they've actually slept together, thus proving they can avoid the Moonlighting Syndrome ... and then it's really hard to be mad at this show, you know? So yeah, whiplash.

Speaking of: way to make me reconsider my stance on product placement in shows with all those anvil-sized, super-clunky Kia-adverts in the middle of the dialogue. I was actually pretty convinved you could write in product placement smoothly and without making your characters seem like they suddenly had a hand up their bottom that made them speak, but it appears I may have been wrong.

tv: the glades, tv: leverage, tv: true blood
