Cat's doing better today, as am I (him more than me, though). No more puking, not that he's had anything to eat - we'll see how it goes when I give him food later. Weather's been awful today so I've been feeling crap because of that, but I atleast got a good nap in earlier. And mom helped me with the mess on the balcony, and I don't feel guilty at all about asking her for help when she's not feeling well. Nope, not a bit. Cough. Rookie Blue tomorrow! Although that weirdly mostly makes me nervous. :/ Not sure if I'm more afraid the episode will be a disappointment, which considering my expectations from promo/spoilers is not unlikely, or if I'm worried it'll be awesome and push me further into shippy madness. IDK, I think I'm very ready for this show to go on hiatus now, I'm just getting wayyyy too excited over it. I hate it that my obsessions always go into overdrive sooner or later and then it's just too much to be enjoyable. My brain really needs an off-switch.
My first and therefore favorite friend lessrest is back on LJ (*dances around in a circle*), and she's inspired me to take up screencapping as a hobby. The Glades to start with, since it's pretty much impossible to find caps for that show (although if you know of any other shows with a capping shortage I'm all ears). A recent friending meme made me realize I don't really contribute to fandoms in any sort of useful way, so I quite like this plan. Stay tuned for the post in 2 days in which I go "meh, too much work, whatever". :p
Someone made a Portal live-action short film, and even though it sorta sent me into nerdrage over some "THAT'S NOT IN THE GAME" stuff, it's still amaaaaazing and totally supporting my dream of a Portal movie or TV show. MAKE IT HAPPEN, UNIVERSE! It will be the greatest thing ever and make billions and trillions of money because I'll go watch it 100 times and then buy ALL THE DVDs. I want this. I want this so bad.
PS: Must include Space Core and Wheatley. And GladOS, seriously, there was an appalling lack of GladOS in that short.
