O HAI.

Long time no blog, I know. Been busy, not had much to say, etc etc. Maybe I just needed a break, IDK. Feeling a bit mellow at the moment, so to cheer myself up I'm gonna make a list of reasons why I should currently be happy:
  • My icon. Dancing Ron Swanson is always a cause for joy.
  • The weather's turning from hotter-than-a-camel's-ass to typically-Swedish again, which is good because the heat's making me tired and listless and possibly dehydrated. I think I muchly prefer being gloomy and emo because of depressing weather instead. Course, that could be the heatstroke talking.
  • Just found out someone on my list actually watches SYTYCD, which brings the grandtotal up to: one person! :D Also this week's performance show was kind of hilarious and disturbing, what with everyone kissing everyone and Cat adorably trying not to pass out from the horror and shock.
  • Speaking of dance, Phillip Chebeeb's crew won ABDC s6, which is as it should be cause they were awesome. I've kinda been Twitter-stalking him on and off since s5 of SYTYCD, but I didn't know he was on ABDC until recently. Been catching up and re-watching episodes of ABDC in my downtime (you know, between juggling my other TV-watching duties and my online gaming), and I think enjoy it more than SYTYCD in a lot of ways, because it's more fair and has less pervy uncle Nigel and less boring Broadway numbers by Tasty Oreo.
  • True Blood is back! Didn't blog about the premiere cause well, it wasn't really all that OMG-worthy. Except maybe for the fairies turning out to be AWESOME and totally two-faced, which I loved, and also Mab who always reminds me of The Dresden Files. <3 Overall the episode was very rushed, what with having to cover one year's worth of storylines for all the bazillion characters, but the ending has me biting nails and counting seconds until next Monday (I know the ep is out, but as tempting as that is, the thought of 2 weeks without a new episode is enough to make me pace myself.).
  • I've found some new music to listen obsessively to! The Naked And Famous - Young Blood = epic summer anthem of the indiest kind, I have it on repeat. And a new Patrick Wolf album, which is so far mostly just okay. Anyway, yaaay music.
Dunno if that cheered me up, but it did kill some time and now it's bedtime which actually sounds really nice. Hope you all are well and enjoying your summer tiems.
