I'm in a bad mood. Been having a total asshat day, and I'm depressed so I guess my new meds haven't started working yet, even though it's been two weeks now, and I want a new project cause I'm booored. And I need distraction from the DW/Portal 2 fanfic ideas that keep popping into my head, because that's really getting annoying. I've tried actually writing the damned thing but I'm no writer, I don't have the patience or concentration for it. Not to mention I write 5 lines and then go UGH and want to erase the memory of ever writing anything out of my brain, and when I can't I get a headache.

Anyway, started catching up on Chuck with ep 420 and very glad I waited to see it because otherwise I wouldn't have giggled so much at that GoT reference. <3 Forgot how funny this show could be, when it's not being all annoying and emo about Chuck and Sarah or Chuck and his family or the boring Volkoffs. It's not like I completely hate all those storylines - except the whole Ellie thing, I do hate that - but between all that and the non-funny, too-silly, plot-irrelevant Buy More antics.... I just forgot that this show actually has the capability of being smart and funny.

Oh, also watched the Glee season finale today, or rather facepalmed my way through it. Ugh, so bad. I keep hoping it'll stop bothering me how much better this show could be, and just settle for enjoying the flawless awesomeness of Santana and the adorableness of Brittany, but ... ASDFDJG. THE STUPID, IT HURTS MY BRAIN. They write their OWN songs like, 5 minutes before going onstage, and are actually surprised they didn't make top 10? I'm surprised they made #12 with that crap! Did the other groups all have food poisoning? How bad could they all have been to have out-baded THAT? Because yeah, kudos to the writers of those songs for realism - they did sound like they were clobbered together in 5 minutes each. And really, I do not care one iota for Mr Shue's happiness, but for the sake of my sanity, couldn't he have atleast spent the summer doing Broadway? Because isn't that exactly what he said he'd do like, last week? I don't even pay attention and *I* remember that! Then again, maybe I dreamt it during one of my obligatory naps whenever Rachel starts belting out a power ballad. Or Broadway number. Or a duet with Finn. Can this pleeeeease be the end of the sodding musical chairs romances? Atleast those surrounding Finn, Rachel or Quinn, because they are the WORST. Cannot wait until they go off to college, hopefully not to be seen again. Brittany and Santana can be held back a year, that's believable (not that THAT matters in this show) and would be awesome. Everyone else, shoo! Including you, Mr  Shue. Go to Broadway and stay there, Buttchin.
(Why yes, I do feel better now. Nothing like meaningless rage about stupid TV shows to get the "UGH" out of your system.)

Anywaaay, I think this was the last of the season finales for this season (although I have yet to see a few), and I must say it's been a good year for them! Not if you're a boss in a procedural show, of course, because they did NOT have a good year, but viewer-wise it was good. Some shocking twists, a lot of good deaths (sad, but not too sad), good guest stars, some actual plot progression... Of course, some were utter crap (Bones, HIMYM, Criminal Minds, I'm looking at you), but a lot of show that usually just pass me by actually made an impact this year. Here's hoping they don't just push the reset butan come fall!

I'll shut up soon, although rambling on about TV stuff does seem to take my mind off things.... Lets look at my news feeds before I shut up! Ooh hey, I was wrong, one more season finale to go and it's a good one! Cougar Town, yaaaay! :D
Oh, and more good news: Saffron Burrows is out of the Bones spinoff, which means I might actually stand watching it! I did quite like the backdoor pilot, aside from her, it was a lot like The Glades (only The Glades is way better and you should all watch it).
And some new trailers for CW shows are up, which are looking goooood. Atleast the SMG one, the TVD spinoff just looks like it'll be addictively craptacular. Until it gets annoying, like TVD did.
Righto, gonna shuddup and go to bed now. I did warn you about reading.

tv: glee, tv: chuck, i: reject reality and substitute tv, misc: bitching and moaning
