Life works in really funny ways - I've been whining about not having a job for the past month and within the span of 3 days, I've landed up with 3 offers and they are:
Dining Hall
Library
Gym Laundry
Of which I am taking dining hall and library...dining hall is tiring as fuck. Now I give the stink eye to anyone who doesn't clear their plates before putting it on the conveyor belt to the dishroom...because I'm the person scraping that nasty shit off.
BUT THE MAIN POINT OF THIS POST IS TO BRAG ABOUT THE LIBRARY JOB. It's basically photocopying and reception desk duties...except I'm working at the BANCROFT LIBRARY WHICH HAS A SECRET CLIMATE-CONTROLLED UNDERGROUND STACKS WITH SHELVES AND SHELVES OF HISTORICAL BOOKS AND LETTERS
SHELVES AND SHELVES!!!!!!!!!
I GET TO PHOTOCOPY THEM!!!!!!!!
I GET TO TOUCH LETTERS AND BOOKS WRITTEN BY SOME OF THE MOST AWESOME HISTORICAL FIGURES IN THE WORLD!!
lol idk why this makes me so excited but who cares, the main main main point is I AM EARNING LOADS OF $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
