Socks, socks, and more socks!
After a long long wait, I have finally gotten around to some knitting updating! My blog has lots more details, but here are the projects I've uploaded so far... SOCKS!

My first socks! Begun June 30th, pair finished July 9th. Not really the time of year for thick wooly socks, but they were a nice quick knit pair to learn with :) (the 2nd sock was knit in 1 day) And now that it's gotten cold (and warm again. and cold again. and now we're warm again.) I've worn them quite a bit and they are soo comfy and cozy!

er.. please excuse the wounds on my heels :S result of getting lost in Toronto on a really hot day...
The important thing, though, is my fabulous anklet socks! Begun July 29th, finished August 6th (had to take a beark between casting on sock 2 and finishing it due to a heat wave that made knitting very unappealing). Much more weather appropriate socks - very nice for cooler days, or for socks to wear at work in my croc-knock-offs. These have had a lot of wear and have held up well :)

My most favourite socks to date - they're such a delightfully stripey purple! :) And very soft, and very warm. My toes are so cozy warm on long walks when I wear these! And they have some nice squishyness to them which helps keep my feet happy on those long walks :) Began Sept 17th, finished Sept 28th.

Lastly, we have Christy's socks! The first pair of socks I've made as a gift. And she's a great one to make socks for.. she was so ridiculously happy! And she showed them off the everyone, complete with exclamations that I made them for her so they're special :) Began these Oct 13th and finished them Oct 27th.

See, I have been very knitty these past few months... I've just been very lazy about the photo-posting ;P
And just last night, I finished yet another pair of socks! This time branching out into patterned socks... and they're RED! :D Hopefully it won't take me quite so long to upload the photos of them ;)
