It's been a good week...
Havings much fun, studying not so much.... next Monday might hurt because of this, but oh well :P
Monday night I went to dinner & a movie at the Bookshelf with the OVC Health & Balance Club. We saw Marie Antoinnette, which I rather enjoyed if only because it was so pretty to look at :) I'v actually never been to a movie at the bookshelf before, and I'm not really sure why.. it's so close to my house! I should work on the.. in the summer :P Though going this Monday really reminded me how much I love going to the movies and how much I miss it :( I'm trying to figure out what night I can swing going to see Happy Feet. I'll be really sad if I miss seeing that in the theatres :( (will have to watch and see if it ever comes to the bookshelf if I miss it at Galaxy..)
Dinner was really good as well, and it was a good crowd of people :) Some first years came out as well! (first H&B event I've been to where there were more than just people from my class ;) )
I hope they run that event again... good times..
Last night I went to Kitchener to see RENT! I'd never seen it before, and it has been years since I've been to see any show at all... and I loved it! Again with the reminding me how much I love and miss something... I wish I had the money/means/time to see more shows...
I went with caliza and a bunch of her friends, and they were a lot of fun :) Wondered around Kitchener for a bit, as we went in on an early bus. Grabbed dinner at some random "bar&grill" that had dirty plates :P But good cheeseburger & fries.. (apparently the chicken fingers left much to be desired though..). Got coffee at this nice lil' cafe (Matter of Taste I think it was called).. they had really good peppermint tea! And I enjoyed their cups, very not-hand-burning.
The show was all kinds of awesome... made me laugh, made me cry, made me want to sing... what more does one need in musical theatre?? :) I've heard so much about the show.. and it did not dissapoint at all :)
Anyhow, when we came back to Guelph the plan was to go to Tim Horton's for some post show coffee... but I had to decline and go do my data entry :P Thank goodness I don't start until 10:30am this morning, because I didn't get home until 1am :| gyah...
Oh, also yesterday I pulled off a birthday surprise for Adam. His birthday is today, but yesterday I was done class at 10:30am and so had lots of time to head over to his place while he was at work.. I brought over his present (battlestar galactica season 1 dvd) and the coconut bars i baked him (which he has been asking me to make ever since i did them in the summer ;P) and then while I was there I made his bed, did his dishes, did some general tidying up and vaccuumed... judging by the comment he lefton my facebook wall when he got home, it was a successful surprise ;)
anyhow... hopefully I can get some studying done today... and maybe tomorrow (but it's thursday..unlikely...), and thne will be studying LOTS on Friday. Test on Monday and am going to Niagara Falls Saturday-Sunday... so Friday's my last good chance to prepare for this upcoming exam! :S
