I was behind as of the end of the first day, pretty much. (okay, okay, maybe I wasn't behind until the end of the second day.) I feel like I'm living a life in chaos right now :P
Have already had the first of neverending online quizzes, and passed that... and had the second, and seem unable to pass it :P (I'm going home after grocery shopping after work and sitting myself down to figure this immunology crap out... the questions are really kind of hard to follow, so I just cannot get by with my passing knowledge on the subject :( )
I feel like there never was a summer... it's not just that I actually never left this building... but it's all the same people in all the same rooms... feels like there's very little change. We've skipped that period of "new year eagerness" - where people pay attention in class, are respectful of the lecturer, are ready and willing to work... and are just right back where we left off in April - sleeping in class, skipping class/lab, being rude and disruptive... it's a bit annoying actually :P
Definitely some things/people I didn't miss... but I guess the people and activities I did miss mostly make up for that...
I gave a tour to a group of new students... and I forgot which way to turn to get to the histology lab :| Oooops....
The new class seems fun... they really got into the whole dressing up thing for the frat pub crawl/welcome party. I went for a bit last night, and there were some awesome costumes (mostly amongst my crazy classmates... we had the whole set of KISS members, fightfully well done!), and very very few people not dressing with the theme of rockstars.
on a not-school front, Thursday night I went over to Adam's and we started watching season 1 of Lost (not my idea at all.. I really had no interest in ever seeing this show..). Not bad, but I'm certainly not irrevocaly hooked. We've watched 7 episodes now, and if I don't get to see the rest, I'll get over it. It's enjoyable, but I'm just not feeling hooked...
other than that? it's mostly really just been school and work, and various things related to that. Trying to get my room a bit more organized and live-in-able (2 loads of laundry done... 2 more to do this weekend :P), and trying to do some school work in the evenings so I don't fall irrepairably behind... but i'm still dreadfully behind :P hopefully I can make some good headway this weekend...
